from Sr. Warden Robert T. Imhoff.
"Webmaster Bob" would like to express his deepest, heartfelt thanks to
the brethren of Gillespie #214 for bestowing upon him the honor of
honorary membership. It is a GREAT honor for him!
W. Brother Jim Kinney also receives honorary membership!
How did you vote?
Last night, I voted to close my lodge, not maliciously, but thoughtlessly.
I voted to close it's doors and turn off it's lights, so that it could no longer contribute to the
community.
I voted to close the holy bible on the altar, that same bible so reverantly opened by so many
before, as they progressed toward the East.
I voted for the Worshipful Master and Wardens to cease all references to god, and our
Secretary to no longer present Masonic education.
Yes, I voted to silence the lessons of our three degrees, also, that all the pledges be hushed and
that the Chaplain refrain from offering scripture readings or prayer.
I voted to end all charitable endevours, such as support for the Masonic Homes.
No more Grand Master's programs or scholarships.
I voted to end friendship and fellowship, and to send my brethren home without even a cup of
coffee.
I voted for the darkness of superstition, the degrading influence of sin, the blight of ignorance,
and the curse of selfishness to replace my lodge in the community.
I could have gone to my lodge last night, but I didn't..........................I stayed away!
By my indifference, I voted to close my lodge.
Please come see us at Gillespie instead!
